The video starts off with Bald returning to Siliguri, India, saying that this time he is going to show the “nice” side of the city instead of the rundown parts. He checks into the Ramada Encore, shows off a surprisingly good £40 hotel room, gets cash from Axis Bank, then heads to Flurys, which he calls the fanciest café in Siliguri. After coffee and cake, he visits a mall, buys nicer clothes, and goes to a more upscale bar/restaurant, joking that this is the “live like a king” version of Siliguri. But the mood shifts when Backpacker Ben takes him under a bridge to see the poorer side of the city, where people live in shacks beside a polluted river, pump water nearby, and worship at a small Hanuman shrine. Bald contrasts the fancy cafés and hotels with the poverty and poor sanitation many people live with.

Then he and Ben continue their journey out of Siliguri by train toward Cooch Behar, riding in the packed general compartment, where Bald finds the chaos funny but Ben slowly starts breaking down from the crowding, heat, litter, and people spitting. They reach Cooch Behar, stay at what Bald calls a hidden-gem hotel, the Gilmore Royals, and try to visit the Cooch Behar Palace, but give up because filming is not allowed. From there, they attempt to continue toward Guwahati, Assam, but miss the bus and are forced back onto another general-class train. This second train is even worse, with them standing near a filthy toilet until they escape into sleeper class and try to pay a fine. The video ends with them reaching Assam, both feeling sick, and Bald wrapping up the northern India journey by saying India has serious problems but also unforgettable, friendly, and fun people.
