About This Video
In this episode, Seal On Tour unexpectedly finds himself stranded in Dubai after flights are grounded following reported Iranian drone and missile strikes around the UAE. From his hotel near Dubai airport, he describes hearing explosions, seeing alerts, and realizing he may need to leave the country by land rather than wait for airspace to reopen. Instead of staying inside, he goes out to investigate the strange calm of the city, where tourists are still drinking, families are still relaxing, and Dubai continues operating almost normally despite the tension. As more distant explosions and possible interceptions are seen or heard, he begins looking for a way out and considers crossing into Oman, where flights may be more likely to operate.
The escape turns into a bizarre Dubai side quest when a contact named Farzen picks him up in a gold Rolls-Royce and agrees to drive him toward the Oman border. Before leaving, they stop for a cash/property-related errand, pass through a gated luxury community, meet spoiled rich kids riding electric bikes around a playground, and then begin the desert drive out of the UAE. Seal eventually crosses into Oman, gets warned for filming near the border, checks into a hotel with other stranded “Dubai refugees,” and spends a huge amount of money on a last-minute flight to Bangkok. The video ends with him at Muscat airport and later reflecting that, while the situation felt stressful, his experience was nothing compared to people living through real war and displacement. The episode becomes a chaotic escape story about Dubai, privilege, uncertainty, absurd wealth, and gratitude after a frightening but ultimately temporary disruption.
