About This Video
In this episode, Seal On Tour travels to South Korea with Eva, a French traveler he met before the trip, framing the video as an unusual “first date” built around wet markets, strange foods, flea-market spy gear, and eventually a visit to the North Korean border. The day begins in Seoul at a seafood market, where they wander past tanks of fish, crabs, octopus, sharks, and other live seafood before buying sannakji, sea worm, and another raw sea creature to eat upstairs with a view of the city skyline. Seal and Eva try the still-moving octopus tentacles, react to the suction and texture, and continue exploring the market before buying and eating a large crab with several extra seafood items thrown in by the vendor.
After the market, they take the subway to a flea-market street to look for binoculars and an old handycam for their planned trip to the border. Seal jokes his way through stalls selling cameras, military clothing, old Soviet items, pins, and secondhand goods before buying a JVC handycam and testing it out. They then move through a lively food street, where Eva shops for a first-copy Chanel bag and they try street snacks including dalgona-style Squid Game candy, lamb skewers, grilled cheese, tiny crabs, and coconut shrimp. The video ends the next day at the North Korean border, where filming is heavily restricted. Seal explains that the tour included a North Korean defector, an observatory, strict rules around cameras and electronics, and a brief glimpse toward North Korea, closing with the idea that this is only “episode one” from the south and that he may eventually continue the story from inside North Korea itself.
